Most of my hobbies use a computer, so I spend a fair bit of time at one. I also take it to multiple LAN events a year, which means I need a powerful machine that's easy to transport.

    Noctua NH-L9a-AM5 chromax.black Not convinced by it, might need something beefier, but it's small and light.

Home desk.

  • Monitor

    Alienware AW3423DWF I saw this at a LAN and immediately purchased one, unbelievably good colours.

  • Monitor light

    Custom-built light bar Matches monitor curve and width.

  • Secondary monitor

    VSDISPLAY 14.5inch 2560x720 2K IPS IRC and Discord, whilst the other monitor is occupied with important tasks.

  • Mouse

    Logitech G502 Lightspeed + G Powerplay Powerplay is amazing. Never have to charge your mouse yet wireless freedom.

  • Keyboard

    Keychron K10-J3 (Cherry brown) Full size keyboard, I went brown because I wasn't convinced by the noise, but I was wrong, I should upgrade, they are hot swappable.

  • Chair

    Secretlab TITAN Evo 2022 I don't really notice this chair, I think thats a good testament to it being comfortable, and it accommodates my weird ways of sitting too.

The LAN kit.

A few times a year the PC and this lot get packed down and driven to a hall, which is why it's built the way it is.

  • Mouse

    ZOWIE EC1-C High quality, wired mouse. LAN has interference.

  • Keyboard

    Keychron K8-J2 (Cherry Blue) TKL to make it easier to carry, I also went nice tactile keys and I should upgrade my main keyboard.

Software.

  • OS

    Arch Linux Simple philosophy, up to date, rolling.

  • Browser

    Firefox Open source browser that still gives some degree of choice, and most importantly not part of the blink hegemony. I'm old enough to remember what happens when a single browser engine dominates, and that one didn't have ulterior motives.
